Foodies Basket IGA HQ Project

Project Brief:

Our mission entailed the development of a functional and cohesive Commercial space on the upper level, harmonizing with the lower level previously designed by another professional. The client's vision revolved around a clean, minimalist design characterized by a cool color palette, the incorporation of Black Hardware, Leather, and Marble Finishes, complemented with subtle gold accents.

Notably, the project was under stringent time constraints, with a 10-week deadline, and our responsibilities included sourcing Furniture, Art, and Decor selections for four Offices, the Boardroom, and the waiting and lunch areas. It was a blank canvas on the upper level awaiting transformation.

Project Info from Ash, Lead Stylist and Decorator:

This client went with the "Shopping List" approach, where we handled the Sourcing and Item Selection while they took care of ordering and deliveries. They brought us in for the final Installation of the chosen items once they arrived.

Designing Commercial Spaces can be quite a puzzle since you're dealing with various personalities. In this case, it was a family business, so finding the sweet spot between everyone's tastes while keeping things practical was the key. We also selected will stay in items that won't go out of style, ensuring a timeless and enduring appeal.

On Installation day, we had Hangmaster assist with Art Installation, and together, we achieved a cohesive and functional space that caters to both employees and office visitors, all while ensuring a lasting and stylish design.

What our Client had to say:

Highly recommend Selene Interiors! Ash helped us with furniture selection, art work and finishing touches for our new Foodies Head Office extension. She was really easy to communicate with and highly professional. She has an eye for detail and was very involved with us throughout the whole process, from ordering to final install. We would definitely use her services again in the future!
